AVOID SHEILS AND FORD Purchased a “brand new” Ford Ranger Wildtrak in 2020 December of 2020 as I was forced by the salesman to go ahead before the new year as in his words “I’ve someone for your trade in” so I obliged him! The jeep was actually manufactured in 2019 and if it goes 1 day over 2 years old it cannot be sold as a new vehicle so I’m guessing this was the reason for the forced registration in last week of 2020 Anyway from there on here is the list of things that broke on the ranger:- 1.) catalytic converter replacement 6000kms 2.) ad blue sensors 3.) parking sensors 4.) tyre inflation sensors 5.) steering rack 6.) intercooler replacement Others I cannot remember all above covered in warranty BEWARE !!! 7.) Timing Belt broke 109,000kms Ian in service called me to say “no cover and new engine in or around €10,000 euros “ !! Last words on the phone call was “I’ll leave that with you, have a think about it” My jeep is parked up 3 weeks with no replacement vehicle and no help from anyone I took to TicTok with a video and the following day I got a call from Ian saying he seen the video going around Then the managing director called telling me “things could get nasty” and “you need us on your side” After a heated conversation he called me back after I requested he check the recommended by Ford, Timing belt change and confirmed it to be 150,000 miles !! Ford Ireland have now informed me they will not offer any help in repairing my vehicle so I’m left with a bill of €10,000 euro I will be posting this on every platform I can find and I’m going to involve the RTÉ consumer show to expose this company

Got ford focus from them in May 2017. Sales rep was Tony Roche, car came with half break pads on front wheels. Full service was promised ahead of car delivery but seems that no one even touch it. Brought back for service and got rude attitude for this. Even tho its their job in the first place. Finance calculations in office was 1 but then when papers arrived in post i discovered hidden fees and interest rates were not as agreed was way higher. Never again in my life i would go there. And wont recommend anyone who is getting used car. Might be ok for new cars but dont bother with used cars.
Had my car into Sheils last week for a service, very professional and facilitated me at short notice. Ian even got me dropped into town and collected again which was fantastic thanks to Bob. Reasonable on price and even gave me a car wash after the service. Thanks to Ian and the team at Sheils.
Absolutely delighted that Peugeot have come to Ennis. This is our second 5008 and we’re delighted to buy locally from Sheils. We love the iso-fix 3 rear seat facility and large boot which can also serve as an additional two seats. We purchased the new automatic version, which is very easy to get used to. All in all, a great family SUV. Thanks to Jack for his sound advice and making our transaction quite seamless.
