Booked in a service a month in advance, I mentioned over the phone that there was a small issue with the car which was mentioned by volswagen as a manufacturers fault which we were told we will have to pay for anyway. We also booked a replacement car which was not provided and given . I have advised the memeber of staff rhar that’s not good customer service to what his reply was “you don’t have to come back tomorrow if you don’t think this is good customer service”. I’m very disappointed as I got the car serviced here before with no issues but this mornings experience left me shocked to say the least. No compensation for the confussion and only to be told not to come back if I’m not happy , not even an apology. I find this outrageous customer service to say the least .
Hi, a couple of months ago I got gearbox serviced and all was good. Went back today to get a price quote on repair and was told I have to leave car for diagnosis and then I will get the price. The problem is the issue with car happens first thing in the morning after frosty night. some1 who knows about cars looked one morning and told me what it can be. Service guy not only had funny attitude but also said their technician must look at the car to find issue which wd cost me €150 (for something that I'm 90% sure of). Didn't get the price.. 2 other pple I know from town prefer go to Athlone.. pity
Well I don't like to give bad comments and reviews but this place go wrong direction in last 2 years . My experience over phone conversation and rudeness of the man there is just unacceptable. There was no option to chat normally about my issue . I know this place years and my advice to the man is if u don't like what I do just change the job .
I bought a used Mercedes from here and my experience was exceptional with sales and after sales service. The staff is so easy to deal with and very welcoming. The car had some warning light before the sale was closed and they went above and beyond to fix it after closing the sale. I had a second thought after buying my car but Robert from Sales and Liam/Robbie from services did what true gentlemen would do to make it up for me. I would definitely go back there for my next car.
Not a great experience but nothing that you wouldn’t find at other VW dealerships. Went in to get a fix done and it did get sorted but I found something a little dodgy, I come in to get one thing fixed and when I’m leaving my rear whipper doesn’t work, technician tells me He doesn’t know what’s wrong with it but lists a few things it could be ( broken wires, faulty whisper motor other expensive repairs ) and says they can take a look which means I’d have to fork out another €85 for diagnostics so I just say be grand and leave happy enough. Few days later I’m plugging in a scan tool and decided to have a look at the fuse for the rear whipper thinking they would hardly have missed a popped fuse and wouldn’t you know the fuse isn’t popped it’s just straight up gone, there isn’t one, it’s just missing. Seeing as my whipper worked before and I didn’t remove the fuse Iam lead to assume that this was some sort of silly attempt at getting a bit more cash from myself. It’s sad to think that the everyday person likely wouldn’t have check for a popped fuse never mind locating a missing fuse and would have paid ye the extra €85 to “Fix the Issue” I’m not saying I know for certain that’s what’s going on here but it definitely looks l like ye were trying to sell me a service I didn’t need or want. A shameful practice which unfortunately isn’t an uncommon in this industry. Always be careful at any dealership or repair shop if there is money to be made, they will. Managed so save a lovely €84.80 buy buying a 20c fuse 😂
