For years, I have dealt with Kellehers Ford Macroom, I bought two vehicles from them, the most recent being a new car. I have only dealt with them for servicing of these vehicles. Also my family have bought cars from Kellehers Macroom and have had vehicles serviced there. They always did a professional job until today, when I took my vehicle in to fix a sensor issue, and also assumed I was booked in for a service. The service staff, principally the service manager John was extremely rude to put it lightly, there was a misunderstanding and miscommunication between myself and the service team regarding what I would be getting done to my vehicle that day, but how John handled the interaction was bizarre and his behaviour towards me was unacceptable. He got irate and told me they wouldn’t service my car and take it elsewhere, he threw my keys down and overall it was nothing short of a tantrum. As a customer I’ve never experienced this at any business before. I rang the general manager Pat Kelleher to raise this and he said he would speak to the staff, upon calling back after this he dismissed it as a misunderstanding, that he doesn’t know what goes on in the service centre , taking zero responsibility for his staff. There was no apology or proper acknowledgment of the situation and therefore why this review is being created and why I will create more reviews and beyond. I’d advise you to avoid this dealership, if you don’t want to deal with irate managers and incompetent senior managers. In good news the sensor was fixed, so the mechanics there continue to do their good work, 5 stars for the hard workers, 1 star for mangers. Edit - I have booked into Kerry motor works who send confirmation of service date , do a courtesy call two days before to remind , they do not treat their customers like dirt and have a proper professional system.

Service was completed on the prearranged date, within advised time period. Appointment was easily scheduled, the service was within my expectations of a well established business

The level of service Kellehers offer is exemplary. Staff are well-trained, professional and supported. Owners are people of integrity and decency. 100% satisfied. Will always return.

Service department is super to deal with. Professional, friendly customer service where nothing is a problem. I availed of the lift offered to me so I could shop while car was attended to and another time I waited at the showroom while the car was serviced. Both times my car was ready in the timeframe I had been given beforehand. Denis and John are brilliant to deal with and everyone I met at Kellehers was friendly and helpful. No hesitation in recommending them.

Just bought my fourth new Ford from Kellehers of Macroom, have always found them excellent to do a deal with, in particular Marc, would highly recommend.
