I just can't believe this is a main dealer. Came in for an easy headlight alignment for failed NCT. Came out with replaced rear lights and 3 times revisited for headlight alignment. 3 times NCT rebooked. Bill €750+. Guess what? It was still not aligned after 4 visits. Told me headlights needed to be replaced without even trying to align it first. Checked by their top mechanic I was told. After all these frustrations, I came into my local mechanic. Alignment done in 10mins. After hearing my story, it was free of charge. NCT passed same day. I would not visit any of their dealers in J&P group for a service after this shambolic experience.
Purchased a brand new Partner Van from J&P Peugeot Mahon. Was a bit shocked at a completely basic spec without even reversing sensors, which are a safety essential in a van without rear view mirror. Fitted later by a third party. Hub caps and roof rails were quoted at astronomical prices so again purchased non-Peugeot parts at fraction of cost. Booked service via web portal and no response ever. All-in-all a very unsatisfactory experience from Johnson & Perrott Peugeot, Mahon.
These guys are sharks. I booked my car in for a full service and was told on the phone it would be 3 hours. After 3.5 hours I chased the girl on reception to see where the car was as no one had called me. She came back to say the car needed a software update (that would be an hour), brake pads and tyres. They had done none of it. It would take at least another few hours so I would have to book it back in. So at this point, they have had the car for hours, I'm down EUR 355 and nothing that needed doing is done. I'm not a mechanic so I have no way to check that they did anything from the service that they said they would but the car alignment is still off and there's no screen wash in the car (which is reasonably the only two things I can check myself) so I'm not convinced they've done anything except hold the car a few hours and tell me that I need new tyres and brake pads. It cost EUR 355 and I have nothing of value to show for it except a list to show a different mechanic and I'm driving a dangerous car. Awful. The only upside was a woman on reception who was lovely but it's not good enough. Just avoid and go to a reputable dealer you can trust.
Called in here on a Saturday morning. Had to search out someone to show me a feature of the car, he promptly had somewhere better to be. Hung around for another while and was ignored. Eventually someone took all my details for a follow up, nobody called me. Went over to Mallow road motors the next weekend and got excellent service so bought my new Peugeot there instead!
Dropped my work lease car a Peugeot 2008 in for routine service and addblue light on dash one the items to be done and it left in same way light still on. Absolutely hopeless customer service here when I brought it to their attention at the service desk...The car will not start after a time if this is not done. Forced to bring the car elsewhere to be rectified as they could not fit me in until Feb 25th. Will not be going back.!!
