AVOID, they will take you to the cleaners given half the chance. To give them one star is one star too many. I got my breaks done here a couple of months ago. I explained my situation that I was new to the area and didn't know anyone but needed to get my breaks (pads only) changed. Knowing I couldn't get anyone the charged me €220 and when I asked them to carry out a diagnostics check on my parking sensors as a fault was showing they charged me an extra €20 I asked a friend in the trade in another area how much they would charge for the same work no favours and he checked his computer for another car the exact same and they had completed the work less than 3 weeks earlier for €115 using the same parts as these criminals used. I can only advise that you AVOID at all costs or pay more than DOUBLE for a less than acceptable service.

Many thanks to the managers and mechanics of this service station. We arrived with a non-standard problem at the end of the working day and received complete understanding and assistance. Thank you for your kind attitude, support and solution to the problem. Good luck to you in your work and business!

Don’t go near this place they haven’t got a clue what they are doing and tried to rip me off €400 for an oil service. I sent my BMW E92 320d into them to have it serviced and look at some other issues and have them priced up. All they did was change the oil and filter, new wiper blades, adjusted the lights, and topped up the brake fluid. The main reason I brought the car to them was to fix the seat belt extender arms which aren’t working, a fault with the seat sensor which thinks there is someone sitting there so I have to have it buckled or I get the chiming warning sound telling me the seat belt isn’t fastened, 2 warning codes p3002 which is cutting out my turbo when the code is cleared with a fault code reader the turbo works again and off you go until it pops up again cutting the engine power to 50% told them prior to inspection that when I cleaned the MAP sensor the problem went away for months so I’ll be buying a new one for €30 and fit it in 10 minutes. The other code p14a2 is cutting out my cruise control but if I pull over and restart the car it magically comes back for a while. Finally to check my brakes as there is a vibration when braking and was told they were perfect pads and discs. We will see after the nct what they have to say. When I spoke to the mechanic he was adept with his knowledge of the engine and mechanics but when it came to electrics he hadn’t a clue. I may as well have tried teaching a monkey English. Here’s what I was told. Seat belt extenders - not something they do. Seat sensor - Too much work. Fault codes - he drove the car twice and they didn’t come up. (I drove home and back and it came straight on again). Faded lcd on radio - try a fella in water grass hill apparently it’s too hard for them to unbolt 2 bolts holding it in and swap it with a new/used one. Then he proceeded to tell me it could be the timing chain I nearly laughed out loud it’s a BMW with 163k miles on it. Timing chain should last anywhere up to 300-400k miles thus why they don’t use a freaking belt! So went in to the office talked to the owner who kindly handed me the bill for over €400. I thought he was joking but no deadly serious. I said there’s no way I am paying €400 when all they have done is an oil service so he asked me what do I want to pay so we settled on €300. After getting my receipt I was rudely told by Stanley to bring my business elsewhere in future! So much for keeping things local and supporting local business. Going to bite the bullet and bring it into BMW and have it all sorted out properly and by professionals who know what they are doing. I pity any people that bring their car here without knowledge of car mechanics they will pull the wool over your eyes and fleece your money for a shabby job and not address any of the underlying problems that are causing the error codes.

Basically, the garage charges a customer €170 for an oil change. The thing that makes this even more shocking is that the customer provided the oil herself. The customer explained that there was a problem for which she provided a code from a diagnostic code reader. The cheeky garage owner claims they carried out a diagnostic test, only to come back with the same information the customer had already provided them with. The customer wanted them to fix the issue, not tell her what she already knew. The customer had told Hornibrooks the problem was with the mass air flow sensor and they wrote on the receipt "needs mass air flow meter". She told them this and wanted it replaced. The levels of incompetence dont stop there the car has done 121,600 miles, or just over 195,000 km, yet the have put next service at 139,000 km. They must have a time machine in the garage. The issue was taken up with the owner Stanley, who bluffed his way through the explanation for this outrageous bill, stating he only charged for 2 hours of labour instead of 3. I informed Stanley that the isuue has now been resolved and he asked "so what did you bring it in here for?" He was informed that myself, the usual mechanic was out of the country and the car needed to be sorted. He then hung up the phone, so I called him back, whereupon he hung up the phone again after 10 secs. Why would you hang up the phone if you have nothing to hide. People should be made aware of the practices being carried out by these rip off merchants

Absolutely perfect wonderful considerate non pushy paper gentleman salesman. Bought a beautiful car in immaculate condition as are all the cars for sale this. Stanley was a wonderful man to do business with, listened to our questions and answered them. Had knowledge of what he was selling ,taking pride in his family business, and rightly so. Would advise anyone to go there for buying or service and repairs.
