From the minute we walked into the showroom the service was fantastic. All the staff we met were very friendly. Niall was extremely helpful, very pleasant and easy to deal with. I dropped my car in for service yesterday morning. Within 2 hrs i had a video sent to my email address, detailing everything that had been checked and what needed to be replaced. The transparency was amazing. No fear of any hidden extras being added. We also received a complimentary car wash, which was much appreciated. Hazel was fantastic to deal with from start to finish. I would highly recommend and will definitely continue to use Frank Keane.
WARNING! APPALLING CUSTOMER SERVICE! I am absolutely livid with the appalling service I've received. Details below: * We scheduled an express car service, guaranteed to take a maximum of three hours. Instead, it dragged on for five hours, thanks to an unnecessary and incomplete car wash—they only cleaned the front windshield! I only discovered the extent of the delay by eavesdropping on another customer's conversation with a service desk employee. When I inquired after three hours, the person responsible for my car condescendingly informed me it was "waiting to be washed" and that I could leave if I wished. This dismissive and patronizing attitude has been consistent from the beginning. * We then brought the car back to address a fuel cap issue (the outside part, as I clearly stated). After five hours of complete silence, I called for an update, they called me back after 20min. I was then told, in that same horrible condescending tone, that they couldn't fix it because they'd only realized the problem was with the outside cap, not the inside—something I'd already explained. They declared I'd have to bring it back again, after wasting five hours of my time. When I protested, I was offered a loaner car. They then fabricated an excuse about the inside and outside caps being connected, claiming they had to try the inside first. This crucial information was never communicated to me. And upon arrival, I found the car was being washed, despite my explicit request at the check-in kiosk not to wash it, this cost me 50 extra minutes, almost 6 hours of waiting. When I demanded to speak to a manager, I was told to send an email because none were present. Shockingly, the sales manager was there, spoke to me, and told me to email him, but completely ignored our complaint, refusing even to acknowledge receipt of my message. * Today, I returned to leave the car yet again. I was abruptly informed that I needed to contact my insurance company for the loaner car—a requirement I was completely unaware of. After unsuccessfully attempting to reach my insurer, I explained to the service representative that I was not complaining, but simply asking if I should have been informed about this insurance requirement beforehand. He defensively stated he wasn't responsible for the arrangements, but conceded that someone should have told me. Furthermore, despite two prior phone calls explicitly requesting an automatic vehicle due to my driver's license restrictions, the detail, about insurance, was completely overlooked. But frankly, what can one expect from a company whose managers can't even be bothered to acknowledge emails? We were never rude, we always treated everyone with nothing but respect, but unfortunately the other way around does not work. This is our second car from this dealership, and it will be our absolute last. Your utter lack of respect for your customers is unacceptable.
Absolutely fabulous experience purchasing my latest car with Frank Keane VW in Liffey Valley, Dublin. I filled in a form query online over a weekend, including adding pictures of my own car, which I’d hoped to trade. I got a call early on the Monday morning from Niall Costello, one of the sales people on the Liffey Valley team. Niall talked to me about cars that would possibly suit my requirements and budget. He also gave me a trade in price for my car. He immediately sent videos of what might suit and I arranged a visit to view some of cars in my price range. From the minute I entered the showroom, Niall put me at ease, so I instantly knew that I was in the right place to get my new car. I had previously not had great car buying experiences, so my expectations about finding exactly what I wanted were low and thought I’d be searching for weeks. Not the case this time around. Niall made the whole experience a hassle free pleasure, talked me through after sales servicing options and had me on the road in a few days with a lovely VW Taigo. This is a car that actually ticks every box on my wish list and more. It’s a real sign of a very attentive salesperson when a customer can say that they were sold a dream car. Such professionalism is very important to me, as I was spending a lot of money and wanted to be feeling happy to do so. I really felt that I had been listened to and didn’t have any of the usual persuasive jargon to deal with. It made the whole process such a pleasure. So thanks to Niall, I definitely have no hesitation to recommend Frank Keane VW Motors and I’ll be a returning customer in the future.
