Bought a beautiful electric car at Coby motors. Traded in my car and had it serviced before the trade-in. The service at a different dealer highlighted a few items that needed repair, which would have cost around 2K Euro. I shared the maintenance report with Coby motors and they offered to fix the issue. This resulted in a saving of 1.000 euro. We got a fair price for our car, super reasonable, especially compared to brand dealers and their offers. Also went to extra mile to get us an extra key. Super friendly staff and very happy with the car and the deal.

Steer far, far away from Coby Motor Company. I bought a car for over 10,000 euro from Coby Motors in August '23 and was told that an essential broken part would be replaced. After no contact being made about the promised part I then spent over 12 months suffering blatant indifference towards me despite my repeated appeals. This included 5 text messages sent to them over a 5 month period, all unanswered. In desperation I eventually enlisted the assistance of the Society for the Irish Motor Industry (S.I.M.I.) in April "24 and they informed me in August "24 that as the complaint remained unresolved they would refer it to their Complaints Tribunal. The required part was supplied and fitted by Coby in Sept.''24 - 13 months after the problem was first reported to them. I have been unable to establish the formal conclusion of the S.I.M.I. Complaints Tribunal or whether Coby Motor Company are still S.I.M.I. members.
Very happy with my experience with Coby Motor. Special thanks to Gary who made the buying process really simple and enjoyable. The car is beautiful inside out. They handled all the paperwork, transfer process, and delivered the car to my doorstep. Couldn’t ask for a better experience!
I was over to trade in my old car for a convertible last week, the sales person was very patient and welcoming, inspected my car and allowing me for all kinds of inspections and test drives of the new car offered me a price to consider with full warranty of all aspects of the car for 6 month and a new NCT. However, I came back a week later with bank ready for transaction in FULL, insurance quote ready to go, a different staff deal with me this time, suddenly full car warranty become only engine and gearbox, he went to "re-inspect" my car for trade in, while pretending on the phone with someone to check and shout out all kind of "defects" on my car, and suddenly my car is worth nothing and the quote is 2k higher. Not sure if it was my young age and car gave him an impression that I am not a genuine buyer or something. Completely wasted my time doing all the checks and coming from across the city. Very good at turning customer away! NOT HOW BUSINESS SHOULD BE DONE!
