My daughter recently purchased her first car here. The service from Sean and the team was excellent and the car was in very good condition. Sean made the whole experience special and the extra touch of the gift in the car when picking it up was very nice. I am sure my daughter will remember getting her first car for a long time thanks to Sean and the team.

Buyer Beware!!! I bought a 2018 Ford Focus from Carroll and Roche last August and I'm appalled by the lack of aftersales service. A couple of things to note. I noticed when I went to see the car initially there was a brand new set of Pirelli tyres on it so I was happy with that. However, a few days after buying the car and bringing it home I noticed they had swapped them out to cheap Chinese tyres. A very sly and petty tactic in order to sell a car. The clutch randomly sticks from time and I have to pull it up with my foot. I fear it's start of being on the way out. A few weeks ago the power steering module went on the car, which should not happen to a car of that year and mileage.I was quoted €1500 to replace it from my local mechanic. I was able to source a second hand part but it still cost me €950. When I rang Carroll and Roche they didn't want anything to do with it and was told that I was 3 weeks out of the 6 month warranty and had exceeded the mileage limit which was set at 6k kms. I was told that it was just unfortunate timing and that people recieve unwanted bills through their doors all the time. Even if they had offered partial payment it would have been somewhat fair but to be 3weeks out of warranty and to go out of their way not to help me is a big let down. I bought from a garage rather than a private sale to have some peace of mind but have lost all faith in the car and believe I have bought an absolute lemon. I would avoid this garage like the plague!
