Outstanding service department customer care this and last week. Jade Powell couldn’t have been more accommodating, explained all jobs and costs thoroughly, no surprises. The dealership even offered me an office to work from as my car was being serviced. Brilliant experience.
The service counter guys were very helpful. I was told what work had to be done and the time involved. After the service was finished they discussed in detail backed up with a video the work that was done and what to keep an eye on. Overall , I was very happy with the whole setup.
The fact alone that Boland's offers a courtesy car when your vehicle is being serviced puts it miles ahead of the other BMW dealers around the country. I've had a piss-poor experience with my BMW so far due to the (main) dealer I purchased it from so I decided to take my business elsewhere. Thank God because Jade was genuinely a breathe of fresh air to deal with. Simply put, I've had buyers remorse since I purchased the vehicle due to the 'quality' of service I received from the dealer in Dublin. Once I switched to Bolands, I don't have that bad taste in my mouth anymore - I actually feel valued as a customer. Great feeling.
Had my BMW 520d towed here after breaking down (white smoke pouring out the exhaust). Suspected EGR cooler leak having spoken to my local mechanic. Boland’s said they tested etc and couldn’t find anything. They then charged me €360 for the privilege and said the car was safe to drive. Less than 5km down the road from the dealership after collection the car is pouring white smoke again. I highly suspect they didn’t check the EGR properly. Sent the car to NB Motorworks a BMW specialist who quickly diagnosed it as a faulty EGR cooler as suspected and exactly what Bolands claimed wasn’t an issue. Surprise surprise no issues since. I highly suspect Boland’s just didn’t want to action the goodwill gesture on the car from BMW. Terrible customer service. Avoid at all costs.
Bolands were hugely helpful to me. My previous BMW had problems with rear suspension. Bolands not only gave me a good deal on a trade in but they also arranged for the collection of the trade in vehicle. Dominik was brilliant. Always available, responsive , mannerly and easy to deal with.
