If it was possible to give a minus rating then I would gladly do so. My son was interested in purchasing a car so made an appointment with Jamie on Wednesday to view the car on Friday evening at 4.30pm.He also text Jamie again on Thursday to confirm everything was still OK for the appointment,which it was. He received a text from Jamie at 2pm on the Friday to confirm we were still coming and we confirmed we were on the way from Mullingar which is a 2 hr drive to Fermoy. Arrived at the dealership at 4.35pm and the car was already outside so we had a quick look around it and all looked good so we headed inside. We asked to see Jamie and were told by the receptionist that he was with a customer but would be with us shortly. At 4.45pm my son received a text from Jamie to say the car had been just sold by one of his colleagues, even though we had made an appointment to view it and had travelled 2 hrs to do so. We asked to see Jamie again and we were then spoken to by the sales manager who basically told us the appointment didn't mean anything,it was first come first served,it was the middle of January and they couldn't afford to have cars sitting around.. bear in mind this is a car that had only arrived 3 days prior and we had booked in to view it and more than likely put down a deposit to secure it. Needless to say my son and I were very disappointed and annoyed,not only that the car was sold but also in the wholly unacceptable manner in which the situation was handled,which in my experience is about as unprofessional and deceitful as you are likely to get in a so called main dealership. Volkswagen Ireland you need to take notice of this crowd, because you need only look at all the negative reviews to see the damage they are doing to your brand. Potential customers do yourselves a favour and read the reviews before you set foot in the place because we most certainly will not be going anywhere near the place again...steer well clear

Bought a brand new VW, love the car 100% but everything that could go wrong during the ordering process did. Mistakes were made at every single step by the sales person, including during handover. Absolutely shocking service. Would not recommend.
