I am extremely disappointed with the poor communication and lack of professionalism I experienced at this garage while purchasing a car. I had high hopes following an initial meeting that the process would be positive, sadly this was not the case I found the experience frustrating and disorganised. After agreeing to purchase a new car, I was shocked to learn that the garage had sold it to someone else without any notification, forcing me to wait an additional three months for a replacement to arrive from Germany. At no point did the salesperson acknowledge this or offer an apology for the significant inconvenience caused. Had I been made aware I may have requested a different colour or spec.. Throughout the process, communication was virtually nonexistent. I had to chase for updates, and when I did receive information, it was inconsistent. The handling of paperwork was similarly unprofessional, with delays and a lack of attention to detail that made the entire experience unnecessarily stressful. To make matters worse, when I finally collected the car, there was no sign of goodwill or recognition of their poor service—not even a full tank of diesel as a small gesture of apology on the day. In an earlier conversation the sales manager did mention the garage would pay the first years road tax but on handover this could not be confirmed. Given the level of inconvenience I faced, this felt like a final confirmation of their lack of care for customer satisfaction. Based on my experience I am very sorry to say I would not recommend this garage to anyone looking for a professional and reliable car-buying experience.

I visited a few dealerships when looking for a new car. Blackwater Motors stood head and shoulders above the competition thanks to the exemplary customer service I received from Nicole. She was extremely helpful and went out of her way to ensure I got a deal that best suited me. I was blown away by how attentive and accommodating she was from start to finish. Thanks again to Nicole and Blackwater motors for sorting me out with my Polo, delighted.

Brought my golf to Forge Hill for my second service as part of my service pack with VW this morning. I was contacted at 12.30 by email to say one tyre wasnt thread legal and advised changing all 4 and alignment. With NCT due I authorised and was told approximately 1-2hrs to complete. I was there two hrs later and it still wasn’t ready. It was ready after another hour. I would have been waiting another hour if I wanted it washed so I declined. €513.90 in total. Invoice was emailed to me before I left. Lauren on reception was pleasant. However, the amount of people walking around aimlessly is astounding. I drove home and discovered that car manual book, insurance cert and log book was missing from my glove box. I phoned immediately and someone said they’d get back to me. They did and said they had these items and would bring them to my home. A young lad dropped it to my house. Offered no explanation or apology. Service book was not in the folder and he said they’d just use laptops for that now and don’t stamp the service book anymore. Ridiculous. Extremely poor aftercare ‘service’. And I found the missing book and documents very strange considering they don’t stamp anything anymore. Won’t be back. Slow and very expensive. J L.

I had my yearly car service done today and I am totally disappointed. They offered a complementary car wash and I also requested twice that the car wash to be done. Despite this, they did not do the car wash giving lame excuse of under staffing. This happened twice with me. It is very unpleasant to see your car delivered without a basic wash after paying a huge amount on servicing. Hope this reaches the right team and they work on better servicing.

I visited this dealership on Saturday 18.01.25 and the service I received was unprofessional and rude. I made an appointment with Neil to view a car and query about a few cars on site and when we arrived to view the car in my opinion this car should have never been shown to a customer in the state that it was in. There was an odour from the inside of the car. The car was filthy inside and outside, you could feel dirt and grime when you touched the steering wheel, the car itself was in poor condition it had not been serviced, the brake pads and brake discs were completely worn, you could hear the timing belt was extremely worn and the tyres were bald. This car was not safe to be out on the road and should have never been released to a customer so we returned promptly with the aim of viewing other cars we had seen outside that were in better condition. Upon our return to the dealership the sales person whom we had an appointment with was now in a meeting with different customers. We stood there with the keys for over 10 minutes while other sales personal and managers stared at us and never once approached us. We ended up having to approach the receptionist for assistance who apologized profusely for the poor service we had received but unfortunately couldn't find some-one to assist us even though there were sales staff with no customers, she explained they had customers out on test drives awaiting their return so they couldn't deal with another customer yet. Clearly this did not apply to us maybe the 25K plus we were spending was not enough for this dealership. We ended up handing the keys back to the receptionist and left. The whole encounter was unprofessional and unpleasant from the start. Terrible customer service from sales person and their managers onsite who clearly watched this unfold. Having dealt with Blackwater Motors Fermoy before, this dealership is nowhere near as professional. Would not recommend dealing with this dealership if their sales service is this poor. I can only imagine what their aftermarket sales service would be like. After now reading reviews for this dealership I am glad I didn't purchase a vehicle from here.
