Purchased a car for 6,800 from Benjamin Motors in December. Since then I have not been able to drive the car and it is sat on my driveway due to it being faulty and Benjamin did not make me aware of these issues. Engine is leaking oil, fuel lines were disconnected and diesel + oil was leaking all over my driveway. My mechanic said the engine had been replaced and not installed properly which could have caused a fire due to oil spewing out the engine, my mechanic also made me aware that the EGR valve gasket needs replacing as it was spewing out water when the engine was on which can blow the engine. The whole engine block was covered in oil, which is a fire hazard. I messaged Benjamin and he replied “what have you done to the car”. Since then he has no blocked me on WhatsApp and now instagram when I tried to reach out to resolve the issue. I have also tried emailing and still no reply, very unprofessional to ignore your paying customers. The car was also advertised as fully serviced but when I arrived at his garage he told me it wasn’t actually serviced when I asked him when it was serviced. He also took payment on Revolut and provided me with no physical receipt. When going to view a car from Benjamin ‘Daniel’ motors bring a mechanic with you so you don’t have the same issues as I have.
