Following the latest government announcement, car dealerships are open for business alongside all other retail in accordance to the latest government guidance. This allows customers to visit a showroom without an appointment to view, collect or test-drive vehicles for sale.
Even with the latest restrictions being lifted, over 70% of car dealers on Carzone still offer home delivery or click and collect services. To support this new way of buying a car, Carzone have incorporated several 'Remote Selling Flags' on advertised vehicles to highlight any dealerships that offer these services.
Click and Collect
If a dealer accommodates contactless payment and collection options this flag will appear underneath their advert.
Home Delivery
If a dealership provides home delivery, this flag will be made clear on the ads.
COVID-19 Safety Procedures
Dealers have placed this flag on their adverts to give you the peace of mind that they are adhering to government guidelines at their showroom in order to make your buying experience as safe as possible.
Speaking about the reopening, Managing Director of Spirit Motor Group Alan Moore said: “We’re delighted to be re-opening all Spirit Motor Group showrooms for click and collect from Monday May 10th. And we look forward to welcoming our customers and colleagues back through our doors again when we fully reopen on Monday May 17th.
We have Covid-safe procedures in place across all aspects of the business, including floor markings, availability of hand sanitiser to customers and of course, mandatory face masks for staff and customers. We will also be offering customers staggered appointments and test drives of our vehicles. During lockdown we have been supporting our customers with virtual walkarounds, online ordering, remote handovers and more. These options will continue to be available to customers, allowing them to feel completely comfortable throughout the sales process.” Click Here to view Spirit Motor Group Dealerships
