There does not appear to be an official fixed interval for this engine in normal use, so presumably the belt must be checked at service, which is quite an unusual way to do things. Skoda does, however, quote a 120,000km interval (regardless of time) for cars that operate in high dust environments, though we wouldn't class Ireland as that. Best bet might be to call a Skoda service department with your registration to hand and see what they have to say.
