The age and condition don't come into it; it's all about the price paid and the cost of shipping to Ireland. You'll have to pay import duty on that, but of course there's no simple answer as to how much. We believe it will be 3.5 per cent if applicable, but you should read the How to calculate what you owe page from Revenue. Once import duty has been calculated, it's added to the price you paid and VAT at 23 per cent is calculated on that total.
