VRT Estimate on a 2013 Merc CL 500 4.6 V8 with 100k. Closest I could get on ROS was an Sclass @91% depreciation rate? Thank you
Hi Mark,
That car will be in the top band for VRT, at 41 per cent, but it's pure guesswork as to what value Revenue will say the car is worth. That's called the OMSP (Open Market Selling Price) and it's needed to calculate the VRT. It's such a rare car we'd not be confident estimating it, but a quick look in the classifieds suggests it could easily be around €25,000. If it is, then the VRT would be €10,250.
