Volkswagen Golf or Audi A1?
I am trying to decide between a Volkswagen Golf Trendline or an Audi A1. Will not be doing much mileage. Any opinion on the A1?

Hi Mary,
We really like the A1, especially since the recent facelift. It's not quite as much fun to drive as, say, a MINI, but it's good looking, practical and beautifully made. That said, for similar money, a Golf represents much, much better value for money. It's bigger and more spacious, actually more engaging to drive and, to my eyes, every bit as classy. So go for the Golf then.
