Much of a difference between Golf engines?
Hi. Currently own a VW Golf Mk5 1.4litre 75 BHP. Is there much of a difference performance wise between the MK5 I own and the Mk7 1.2 85 BHp? Thanks

Hi Neil,
Yes, there is. It’s not massive (10hp isn’t going to make THAT big a difference), but the biggest change is that the 1.2 is turbocharged so you have more grunt low down, and a much nicer driving experience. It should work out more frugal too.
