They do seem to be pretty solid. That old Renault 1.5 diesel engine is impressively long-lived and one of the side benefits of buying a car, like the Duster, which has such a simple mechanical and electronic package, is that there’s less to go wrong. Dacia was the third-highest rated brand in the most recent JD Power customer satisfaction survey, and while that covers more than just broken/not broken reliability, the Duster must be doing something right.
