It depends on the engine fitted...

Timing chains do not come with a scheduled change as they are designed to last the life of the engine. Belts must be changed according to a set schedule and this varies from engine to engine.

These engines in the 2015 Clio use timing chains: 0.9-litre and 1.2-litre turbo petrol, 1.6-litre petrol Renaultsport

These use timing belts: 1.2 petrol (non-turbo), 1.5-litre diesels
