Generally speaking, they’re not bad. Obviously that depends on how well the car has been looked after and whether or not it’s been properly serviced, but we wouldn’t expect any catastrophic problems. You are likely to encounter small niggling electrical issues, such as blown bulbs, electric window failures and things like temperature sensors going awry (which can put the engine into limp-home mode), but in terms of big mechanical items, they’re pretty solid.
